In light of "POINTGATE 2010" I really think that if the rules are as such, they should be followed.

Hell there was bitching just last week about reschedules having to done within 24 hours and I don't think it's fair allowing another team more time just due to it being more "high stakes" with regards to ranking.

Yeah thats a point you are correct i didnt understand...However we reshedule in time, the other thing it was at the end better to move it to thursday but every team manage to be ok with it.. also it is something no one of the teams or admins wants.. but sometimes pass fortunatly they have open mind to understand the sense of playing and not just applying rules which are really good but in some cases are not the best option for all the league and teams, however always 1 person will bother about it..

Well here's MY interpretation of the rule.

syh is a Mexican clan, this is a well documented fact. So, in actuality, this match is a special case in which more time should be given due to an intellectual inferiority posed by one clan in comparison to the other. I think that in a case like this, OVER 48 hours can be given for a reschedule, but not under 48 hours. Under 48 hours is not fair to syh as they need more time to process things. HOWEVER, It should still be UNDER 56 hours from the original scheduled time, as over that then they will both forget, as the majority of American clans are comprised of stoners. Now, this is quite a stretch of the rule, but linear lines in the Constitution have been so assraped over the period of history that I believe this could be a correct interpretation and an FTW revolution.

Just to reiterate, I'm not biased in any way, shape, or form. I used well documented facts to come to this conclusion and I think this should be seriously looked into.

A summary:
Americans are stoners
Mexicans are a little slow and need to translate st00f

This is one of the points I'm trying to make. The rules shouldn't be biased to teams known to be better or not and let them skirt by and adjust to rules to their whims.

I recall an admin just last week saying a prolonged reschedule wasn't allowed. I think the same should apply here, regardless of the team. It's only fair as they had the same timeframe as was requested (2 days).

Everyone still suffers in waiting for their own respective schedules and rankings and this only helps two clans actually finish a match. If the time commitments can't be met, you shouldn't join the league.

And I knew I wasn't imagining this. I knew someone posted it.

If you think about it, we just lost (minimum) 2 of the 6 days we had to prepare for the match...Is it fair that everybody lose 33% of their preparation time to accommodate two teams, one of which seems to have a pattern of rescheduling?

You could argue that we already know the map and could have started practicing last week, which is true in a sense. However, I strongly believe that knowing the map is only half the battle. Most clans develop and practice a strategy that correlates to the team they are matched up against. Also, a lot of people aren't able to play every night, so by taking a third of the prep time away, some players will have to learn the strategies in just one or practices. I think this slants the playing field even more for top-tier teams who don't need massive preparation, unlike the middle-tier teams that could potentially be matched up against them.

I don't have an issue with the rescheduling as long as it doesn't happen every other week. What really bothers me is [51]'s selfish, condescending attitude towards the whole situation.
